Compiling memories
Walking down the concrete street
Writing the lyrics to a new beat
Strutting down the path to meet
This chick we going out to eat
I see her and I do the awkward greet
Tell her that she looks pretty and neat
She smiles hugs me and calls me sweet
I blush and look down at my feet
Birds making chirps and tweets
I make a off beat comment about the heat
Now we in my living room suite
I pull out my notes and read from the sheet
I tell her this is how I feel when we are together
I feel like I am
Juggling white sweltering fire
While trying to walk on a high wire
Flames so hot I perspire
Patience is most definitely required
To nurse this unquenchable desire
To keep me from soaring higher
So I dont dry up and expire
I tell her to me what we are is
More precious than sapphire
More exotic than rare cars
More untouchable than stars
More tasty than the Hersheys bar
More powerful than a guitar
She tells me its unreal
Pulls me close I start to squeal
With joy but make myself steel
We kiss its so appealing I reveal
That she is my Achilles heel
And for her I would do a great deal
She takes my hand in hers
And we compile these memories
